Array ( [sid] => 131674 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => The Reality [time] => 2007-02-12 19:41:26 [hometext] => I wrote this when I was thirteen. It's pretty dark, and tells some stories in my life. [bodytext] => These are dark days...
or is it just me?

Is it fantasy?
NO
This is the reality

Babies starving
Abortions left and right
Kids commiting suicide at the age of 12
because of the nightmares of their peers

This can't be real
it can't be true
but it is
everthing is
The reality

Girls getting pregnant at the age of 14
Wars unoffical and offical
on the street and off
People doing everything for money
Stupid, murderous, degrading
EVERYTHING

This isn't a dream
This is a nightmare
This is the reality

Peer pressure to do stupid things
like sex
like drugs
like anything to feel free
in control

I don't like this
the Reality
I wish this was a dream
so that I could wake up
and forget it

Man and wife, once in love
now fighting to no end,
and turning their childs life into a hell

This scarier then any Horror movie
I wish it was
So I could press stop
and never press play
and never finish the Reality

They scream and fight
rip and tear
And think, a second ago
they were sisters...

This is the slowest torture
slowly dragging on
slowly cutting
deeper, deeper
killing me
Then I can escape
the torture
the Reality

For a second, I think
of the tiny, beautiful, golden locket moments
were I smiled
we smiled
I was a sister
a daughter
a friend

loved

I see a innocent peace
a surrounding love
a forever friendship

There's one thing
I don't see

THE REALITY
