Along came my son and said what do you think?
Can you spare a few bucks?
Pushing my button.

I did the man's wash, jeans, dirty socks,
Ironed his shirts, went on his walks,
Can you cook up a treat?
Pushing my buttons.

Headed to work cleaned my desk of all files,
Dispite my fatigue, greeted all them with smiles.
Can you stay late today?
Pushing my buttons.

There's no place to hide this unusual pride.
They have me all drained and crazy inside.
Can you give me a lift?
Pushing my buttons

I'll tell them all now that I need a time out.
My brains overloaded I feel I could shout.
How can I do that?
