A misunderstanding engulfed, by darkness in the soul
Two lovers neither blind, but both fail to see
The time that is wasted, when neither can agree
To listen to each other, and hear each others word
But it always seems argument, is what one prefers
Their rage builds inside, and overwhelms common sense
Which leads to hurtful words and the pain is immense
Neither on the subject they both just want to win
They sink into petty stuff and bring up past events
The pain takes over, neither can look into the other's eye
Doors begin to slam, both alone, and both begin to cry
Solitude surrounds now rage has gone and there's only pain within
Common sense returns, neither can remember what made the quarrel begin
Just the painful words that continue to echo inside
As they both question their love, neither stops nor thinks why.

This is really good. It's said to think. Why is it that nobody ever asks why until it's too late? So sad.... This is a good poem. Thanks for sharing it.
