and although I sit in the open,I'm totally hidden. They smile,they laugh,they block my vision. They sit right next to,or in front of me. Yet their eyes pass right through me. Some of them i know,i've seen many a time. yet i make no contact. I watch as they flock through the doors. All rushing to be what their fantasies call for. Cowboys,gansters,toughguys,queer. Some are ordinary,trapped in a artifical world. I watch them huddle into conversation. All trying to keep to their own little section of nothing. Drinking liquids which rule the mind. And playing games which boggle the mind. I see friends that don't see me unless I see them first. Makes me wonder why I cry for companionship. But who could trusted in this comfortable jungle. I look over and watch the woman I once love deteriorate. I watch the boy in my dreams disappear from view,and I realize the games over............
