Array ( [sid] => 131098 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Sometimes other people dont have a clue about your life [time] => 2007-01-28 11:29:28 [hometext] => people on the outside looking in, dont have a clue about the person you are, a picture is worth thousand words..and sometimes thats what people base their knowledge of you on..what they see, not what they know to be true..and thats sad [bodytext] =>

People are always talking about living in poverty and being poor
But most have never really even, open poverty’s door
And been inside to see or even feel
Those heartaches that the women and men living it, know is real
They know what they see and what they hear
But they have no clue to the feelings of failure, or of the fear
Of not being able to proved for children God blessed in their life
How every day is filled with struggle and strife
How sometimes they get so sick of living this life, of going nowhere
And how even though they don’t say it, they start not to care
They feel as though God as forsaken them and left them alone
That every thing good seems to be gone
Then they look in those beautiful kids eyes
And really start to realize
That these innocent children are depending on them to eat
And to put shoes on their feet
To make sure they have decent clothes on their backs, for school when they start
They need to know and feel they are loved, with with every ounce of a parents heart
And that there is nothing, a parent wouldn’t do
To help make all their dreams come true
So even when parents feel, that there is no hope
That’s when they realized, that all along God has helped them to cope
He gave them the strength to go on; when they felt they could go no more
It was he who picked them up, when they fell to the floor
And carried them till they could stand on their own
He let them know, they have never been alone
That their true blessing, have yet to be seen
And to never stop believing in their dreams
To always come to him in prayer for anything at all
To trust and believe that he will hear their call
We should always give praises, and thanks to our father above
And spread the word of his truth and love
And to remember that no matter, our circumstances
He is a forgiving God, who believes in giving us chances
We should always give praises, and thanks to our father above
And spread the word of his truth and love.

This was a very touching and heartbreaking read, I believe in God and pray to him whenever I am worried and to show him I acknowledge his existance and how much he has done for mankind. I thank him daily for my gifts of life my sons .... and that he allows me to even exist. However, when you mention poverty, God cannot bring food, God cannot pay the bills, or house ... only WE can do that, only we as fellow caring human beings can extend God's arms lets not forget it is mankind that should be feeding and helping one another ... because some things God just cant do soon enough ..........

I loved the poem
God bless
Dee xx
