Forget not those sweet
phrases you whispered
through those gentle
ocean breeze,
beneath
the pallid moon, stood
afar like a mute envious
witness
to our endless love play;
so I thought.
Alas, the cool night
rolled by; making way
to the radiant sun,
illustrating
spectrum of glittering
colors, to snatch away
my tender flower.
You an Opportunist
favored those
magical illusions of
colors, glided away
shattering my fragile
heart into million
tearful fragments,
snuffing my precious
youthful fragrance;
left to weather-out in
thy sweet memory.
My eager eyes snub’s
to concede;
longs to see thee
dash through the
door
into my willing arms
like the day before
you
callously discarded me.

The imagery is sweeping, dazzling, the flow is impeccable, the passion clear, and the pain deeply felt. Excellent, beautiful, emotional poem. My favorite line is this:You an Opportunist
favored those
magical illusions of
colors, glided away
shattering my fragile
heart into million
tearful fragments,
snuffing my precious
youthful fragrance;
left to weather-out in
thy sweet memory."
They best express the love mingled with pain and are majestic.

Oh, my dear friend Franco .. I am so glad I stumbled
onto this tonight. How painfully beautiful this is. And
I have to mention, I am in complete agreement with
the author's note. Your words really filled me with a
beautiful melancholy .. I doubt there exists anyone who
could not relate to this emotion. Well done, my friend.

This poem is amazing. It captures the essence; and the ups or downs of love that everyone goes through. You truely are talented; so keep it up.
