and to the beautiful person that grabbed mine.

Let me take a moment,
to reach down deep
and let all the emotions inside of me
bleed through my pen
of time way back when...
when i didnt care about anyone or anything
when i only spent my time destroying any and everything
i was hung up on all the pain my father inflicted
i used to numb myself with drugs
and became quickly addicted
i was a vacant shell
a prisoner inside my own living hell
i never let myself feel an emotion
never knew how to cry
gave up on life
and wanted so many times to just lay down and die
and then one day someone took the time to care about my life
and inspired me to fight through all my pain and strife
to let go of all my anger and fears...
to let down my walls, let myself be loved, and release my tears...
she helped me realize all the things i couldnt see
and i wanna thank her from the bottom of my heart for teaching me all the things she taught me
she was my driving force for so many things she doesnt even know
like loyalty, and faith, devotion, she helped my heart grow...
she taught me how to be strong, how to rise above
how to be pure, and truly love
how to feel, and be genuinely real...
all the pain of my life before is now just a distant blur...
perhaps thats cuz i never really cared until i met her...
shes my best friend...
and i wanna thank her for all shes inspired me to be.

Thank You L.
