Rain..doesn`t it seem searing at times.

Such a simple pleasure and no one to share it with, quite sad. This is very much how I feel as well.

Blessed be

Sadness evokes the heart of your reader as they read this my friend. Rain it brings me such a peaceful feeling within myself, but it's so sad when you have nobody to share such moments with. A moving piece captured with your mighty pen~ Well done.
hugs n prayers,

Love, love, love this write, Vincent. Especially that first stanza,

"comfort on the old back-steps
twisted some, but sturdy"

reminds me of this beautiful old farm house I live in. Your writes are so damn down to earth. You have quickly jumped on my list of favorite YPDC poets. Thanks for sharing.
Peace, Laura
