In a home
Not suitable
For a free bird

I did what I did
Now I live with it
I ended it
And now I hurt

I know it
I truly do
It was for the best
For me and you

I still have
The memories
The smiles
The kisses

I want us
To be friends
Not lose touch
From our once
connected hearts

Your someone
I’ll always love
No matter what
Because we shared
Our emotions

Now I guess
It’s step by step
Breath by breath
And day by day

And maybe
Just maybe
We can share
Another smile someday

Have a conversation
Face to face
Meet each others
New somebody’s
And share a laugh

Create new memories
To look back on
Instead of our
Once ended past
