Vigorous youthful ardour
gushed in my vein;
heart leaped to conquer
cosmic boundaries and beyond
but held as captive
by my phony family
principles.
Crushed my verve filled desire
into a virtual pulp beyond
identity.
Hurled into bottomless ditch among
the wrath filled youths;
a gang of mirror reflection
of frustrated me.
Trying to bury
our life’s desire in the
damn dirt filled venom
of white toxic powdery
filth.
As I stood submerged in the smut
up to my neck - naked without
love;
labeled on to my fore-head
”Junkie”
persuaded to sink and perish
beneath by
my own trusted
family I dwell among.

An very poignant reveal with a mystical twist on the way, it appears, to Hades...I can feel the words as an extension of an anti-venom technique. Here its more a cutting of the point of injection and sucking the poison out with the vacuum of generational awareness. A painful and hopeful trading of guilt for resolve to overcome.

Good Job

Peace
Yang

Hmmmm at first it seemed a bit vague to where the senses were being taken then the final lines Brings it all together. A family learns from each other and saddly if white powder is part of the accepted goings on Then yes the pangs will go on and on. Peace to you with strength sent with each word.Trust in yourself you can overcome.

How a family can make us or break us. Parents today do not realize that we are looking to them to mold us and shape us. We are as broken as our society when we do not pass along the parental love, acceptance and challenge of life that has helped us all grow...hopefully together. Thank you.
