Beautiful one Sue, I loved it, but could not resist an answer. Sue x

Love can cross the globe it seems,
To share its loving kiss,
Distance is no object,
As it sends its loving bliss,

No barrier can hold it back,
No mountain or ocean deep,
For love remains within our hearts,
For us to share and keep.

Sometimes, the things - the people that are dearest to us, that are most treasured to us are miles away, but in the end the love we have for them is not different then if they were standing beside us. You show that here. Very beautifully and delicately written sue.

Always a pleasure to read.

This reads like a love song from Mother Nature to Zeus...
How earthy and alive:
"...Sweet eternal bliss is felt
As rain drops kiss my lips..."

Beautiful

Peace

I love the way you blended the rain and storm with love.
What do you think about changing "laces" to "lances"? Just a thought.
Beautiful, beautiful piece.

talented poet. I really like the
turbulent emotions coinciding
with the stormy weather. Great
work and beautiful write!

I definately can feel this one--it seems we are in similar predicaments, away from who we love, longing to be near them, still feeling them...
anyway beautifuly expressed. I love the last few lines the best, they define the longing and love-- "He will not be visible tonight/Yet he still laces my heart/With love from admist heavy skies..."
Poignant and emotional. This stray from your normal style is a classic.

Gosh, sue this was a wonderful "unique" piece from you.
I love that you tried something different It worked
out well.

"Your voice caresses my mind"

I cannot begin to tell you how that line affected me .. it
is so sweetly soft and gentle and insanely romantic.
( you know me .. lol)

I think of all your writes, I love this one the most ..
I can't decide why .. perhaps it's the bravery you faced in
penning it. And accomlishing the perfection found right
here on this page. It's beautiful hun. Truly ~

*hugs*

this will be one of my favs.
When I was in your country I went out at night alone, along the ocean shore, sometimes to a near mountain. I`d stop for a cuppa" no one knew my thoughts, they were mine...
I promised myself I would return, and I will.
this write brings it all rushing back. Crow

dark and thought-provoking.

Clearly trying something different works just as well for you as the 'usual' fare! ; ) Well Miss SueQ you sure did say a mouthful in so very few words, now didn't you? I think this is a great piece; the expression is clear and concise, it's loving with the slightest hint of a naughty edge! I have to admit though; right or wrong, I can't help but feel there's a double entendre here... like it makes me think of a lover you're waiting to be with who maybe lives in another city, country, *ahem* across the blue... ; ) but on the other hand, it also makes me think of a prayer-like promise to a cherished loved one who is deceased... and you are waiting to be reunited with them once more, but in the meanwhile the sweet rain pouring down on you is like a deep emotional connection to that person for the time being... Either scenario sounds just as pleasing to me, but either way this is thought-provoking and beautiful to read : )
