I usually always ryhme. But lately I've been just writing like a free write. Please feel free to criticize. And pleasant comments are always appreciated also.) [bodytext] => It was never me he wanted.
It was the girl that I've known forever.
All those lies he wispered in my ear,
All those lies that I kept fall ing for,
Are forever burned into my mind
I really thought he cared
I really thought that he saw me more as just some other girl
Why is it always her?
And why is it NEVER me?
I thought that this was finally the one.
That THIS was real.
But no,
It was just another pretended fate.
How could I let my defense down,
Even for a minuter?
I trusted him with my heart
And now I'm on the verge of breaking.
I felt so loved.
So needed.
What happened?
Why couldn't I be the one to finally end with a happy ending?
Even though, I don't deserve the fate of happiness.
I didn't even deserve a glimpse of true happiness.
I never even had a REAL chance at an happy ending to begin with.
I never had a real chance at love.
But still...
I look at him and long for what I thought we had.
What I THOUGHT was the magnificent feeling of love.
But I should have known better...
The damned never find true bliss. [comments] => 2 [counter] => 250 [topic] => 22 [informant] => misunderstood_gurl [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LostLove )

I can understand where you are coming from on this one. Though I have not personally been in this exact predicament I have seen those who have. Whereas I feel bad about it, I also want to say that it will feel so much better when you allow yourself time to heal and it works. And you move on [easier said then done, I know] and life goes on, good or bad it just does. Although you probably could figure this out on your own, I told you anyways lol And on the darker side which is a place I rarely visit anymore, I believe that even the 'damned' can find refuge and 'bliss' within others, especially empaths.
