Mud never moves from its place
All I ask is a taste
For want it will never waste

It comes to me in bits of chard
I charge it to MasterCard
The fee embedded into print
For the complete monthly stint

The twister begins its path
In its way all feel its wrath
Destruction all askew
What is left seems so new

All is gone washed away
What remains is here to stay
Perhaps this, we need to know
It remains forever on show

I am fond of saying that, " Outcome rarely concerns itself w/ blame." It is what it is, just as we are in its wake, what we are.

Great write!!!

still w/ you in my thoughts...

Now that part is just so lovely. I love it. It's my favorite part of this poem. But of course I like the rest of it. I just sorta like this stanza a little bit more. (But only a little bit...I Promise!!!)
But this poem is truly AH-Mazing. Keep it up. Please and thank you!
