Broken not once not twice
But so many times it seems
Left with many broken dreams

No longer willing to love share
To open her heart again never dare
One man wanted her heart for his own
His love for her seemed to have grown

Pondering this she took a walk in the snow
To the garden asking for a sign to show
If this were the man the one so true
Who would not leave her soul black and blue

Before her eyes could this be
Right next to a barren tree
Above the snow proud and tall
A bright red rose told it all

To give this man a chance she chose
Because of that radiant red rose
Happy now as his wife
Hopefully for the rest of her life [comments] => 7 [counter] => 232 [topic] => 31 [informant] => NoSaint [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 23 [ratings] => 5 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => StoryPoetry )

Your lyrical piece has me holding these "Roses" for its bouquet. The mythic and heroic elements all complimented by fate. You are a floral poet.

Well Done

Peace
Yang

Someimes we need a sign to guide us when we are completely lost. Your Rose series is very good, I enjoy reading each one. This one is great, I loved it.
