How good things were

LoveRemembered

It is the winter of our discontent
The flakes a mere essense
Of that which was once held close
Floating away now
Into the sea of white that lies before us.
Only the moonlight guides our way
Leading us to the illusion of past reveries How good things were...
If only we could go back
And freeze that one special moment Enclose it in an icy tomb
And display it til the ends of time
For it is that single instant that we all
strive to spark up again
To make it rekindle and burn brighter
than ever before
Melt a frozen heart
And quickly the inferno begins to
engulf the soul
Heating the body to that of a fiery love...
or grave,
Depending on how hot you let the fire burn Don't withdraw too quickly
But slowly float away into the soft abyss
