Array ( [sid] => 130218 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Faithful One [time] => 2007-01-07 01:15:24 [hometext] => A poem about God and his faithfulness, that no matter where we are, we can come to him, that he is always there journeying with us. [bodytext] => A silent tear falls down my face,
captured by my saviours hand,
once again found in that place,
alone I cannot stand.

He caught my tear, stood by my side,
and whispered in my ear,
you are never alone my child,
for I am always near.

You are the faithful one,
you are always there,
your endless love shown through your son,
that day you displayed how much you care.

My father this day I run from you,
for I know not how to come,
to come once more to what is true,
with a thankful heart for all you’ve done.

This journey on which you are taking me,
I do not understand,
far in the distance where I cannot see,
throughout the unknown lands.

And yet I know, where can I go,
where you would never find,
for about me all things you know,
Creator, Love, faithful and kind.

A tear again falls down my face,
for I no longer know,
how can I once more run this race,
and so I come to you, show me the way to go.

My Father once more I come to you,
for alone, reality I can face no more,
in you alone do I find what is true,
in your arms I can face whatever is just beyond that door. You really have some great stanzas in here, especially this one;

This journey on which you are taking me,
I do not understand,
far in the distance where I cannot see,
throughout the unknown lands

Great message in here.
