Do you hide behind a mask so no one can see the real you? Deep inside this me, is a part of me? [bodytext] => You are really the person you do say.
Never, let this person go away.
Deep inside the child will sing.
With one aim, for pleasure to bring.

The child’s gestures become your thought.
And flooding back is what was taught.
My heart reaches to keep my child.
From time to time I let it go wild.

My child’s action, sometimes not me.
Pondering, I ask; how can it be?
My answers come from within.
I know my child will eventually win.

With gentle hand I do guide,
And my children I do abide.
So with my child I do live.
And from my heart I always give.

I hope this answers who you are
My shining light is my star.
I am me, my child is deep.
This I remain even in sleep.

Wow, I really like this write. Reminds me to tend to that inner child we all have, and oft forget in the rush to be adults or to achieve a certain status with our peers. I like how you highlighted the actions of the child as being part of who we are as persons in an adult world.
