Because all of this pain, worth it for that one boy.
Oh, the pain, break, shatter, cry, but still a smile,
As she begins to soon destroy.
But the memories come on, in a drowning matter of happiness,
Bringing only loneliness, missing him in misery, in love, and death.
But everything they did, so lovely, why did it fail?
Does she get a last smile, last tear, last breath?
So what if there's still life, not without him, she gasps so softly.
Still remembering how Perfect everything used to be,
She gives up, gives in, turns back, and fades out.
Thinking back to words once said like "without you, I'm not me."
But, deep down, in her pit less soul, she knows,
Oh, she knows, there once was a love so strong.
Screaming, struggling, throwing things, and crying,
what the ***** could've gone so wrong?!
So angry, so lonely, so pain-filled, so in Love.
And as the dagger of a broken heart, reaches the surface,
She finally just lets it overcome her, in an attempt to just breathe.
Short, slow little chokes, gripping onto what she can.
But nothing comes to her in this long, loving grieve.
The tears never end; will the pain, or the love?
But as I look at this girl, at her pain, at their ending,
And wonder to myself, is this my fate, my soon to be pain,
Will I need this attention, this love, this mending?
Cause now we're fine, but they once were too…
Do I have to expect everything she had come, to come? is that my fate?
To take a love, so strong, so powerful,
To flip it, destroy him, shatter me, heartbreak surface into hate.
I can't see this happening, the thought just, hollows me out,
make's me feel the pain as if it were true.
But baby, I love you. You love me,
So don't let this ever, ever become, the fate of me and you.
