Outside the window cleared
The one within the girl
Stayed strong

Her emotions ran high
Her heart was confused
Her mind was clouded
Over with thought

Thought of the past, present and future
Of all the good and the bad
That has yet to come

The bolt of lightening
Soared through her face
Through her eyes

You could hear the thunder
If you listened close enough
As her heart tells the stories
Of all its been through

The tears that come when she is alone
Are the storms raindrops
Making its way from one place to another
For she does not want others sympathy

She just doesn’t wish
For it to happen
To another young girl
Watching her own storm,
That may understand

A very strong piece, I really liked:

"...You could hear the thunder
If you listened close enough
As her heart tells the stories
Of all its been through..."

This piece also delivers the
after-calm to survey and repair for any other
who may be so perturbed.

Well Done

Peace
Yangdantien

i love the metaphor that makes up this write. storms, being truly beautiful in a dark way - beautiful thing to compare to this...inner battle of sorts.

whether this is about you or not...still very, truly, just...beautiful.

truly amazing...you're a wonderful writer.
