amidst the trees so tall,
noticing yourself grow old
but not gracfully at all.

a drink or two a memory a
song you use to know,here's
to days of youthful ways oh
how you miss them so.

you talk to your reflection
but it doesn't make a sound,
a candle glow's and yet not
even shaddows come around.

oh sweet darcy chandler now
what's a girl to do,for times
have changed your rearranged
now your no longer you.

yes watching from your window
you can see the street below,
a college campus drenched with
life and not one face you know.

oh weep not darcy chandler for
dreamers never die, they simply
live there lives in vain nurturing
there lie..

so just keep watching darcy cause
nothing's realy new, one day those
youthful faces will be watching just
like you.
