So...if unto the truth~

the writer gives scope

And thus around the neck~

can be tied a rope...

Then should not to the words~

be paid great heed

Much the same as is paid~

to ones own deeds...

For about those also~

are words written

Once into the essence of~

a writer has bitten...

This time quenching their thirst~

on your own truth

'Til that yours isn't theirs~

found is no proof...

All wounds lay open~

for any to see

Where yours ends & theirs start~

the words mystery...

So, while against the writer~

you might rage

Don't deny your own want~

to turn the page...

For unto the truth~

the writer gives scope

And thus until, "The End"~

is given hope...

To be continued...

No hope is needed ,
Your words they ring true,
They reveal your true self,
And what you need to do,

Very well executed piece, and full of questions and answers, very enjoyable read. Sue x

To punctuate my comment of praise to this wonderful piece I need only quote R.W. Emerson (from his essay, "Self-Reliance") 'n' then an unknown origin quote, "let the chips fall where they may".

"To believe your own thought, to believe that what is true for you in your private heart is true for all men - that is genius."

Fine job! "Let the chips fall where they may."

Kerry, I've read this several times now. It feels like a jigsaw puzzle with pieces that just fit so well. Much truth in the lines.
Peace my poetic sis,
Laura
