hear amidst this woodland path
beside a flowing pond, i shun the
the world and all it's wrath for
greener fields beyond.

within the forest i can feel the
earth beneath my shoes, quietly
i shall be me or any one i choose.

i think i'll write a song today to
please the atmosphere, and when
i'm done i'll thank the sun and
then i'll hold you near.

you will be the song i write amidst
this greenery, a sweet refrain of
gentle rain a breeze of harmony.

with a water colored rainbow i will
paint the sky above, and give to
you a sunset with a promise of my
love.
