Act like you've got nothing
Cos you really don't
And you really won't look like much of anything
In another 100 years
So you said that you want everything
But you act like there isn't anything
Cos there really isn't
And there really won't be much of anything
In another 100 years..."so what's the point?"
Look as though you didn't know
And act as if you just stole the show
But really, you know
And really, you didn't, cos in the end it was fate
That cuts the cake and divy's up the pieces
Did you get your corner piece?
Did you get the flower?
Did you eat it for all it was worth?
Or did you savour the hour, and fought the curse?
Did you win?
Could you win?
You look like you want something,
But you already had it within .
You act like you've got something,
But you wasted and squandered it with sin...
But then again..when a 100 years begins
We'll have found the end...."so whats the point?"
Look like you want something,
Act like there's nothing
Cos in the end
Nothing wins

Cant take it with you when you go.

I can relate this to many different things in life right now.

Loved the way you put this together.

Being that the much of the world is materialistic, especially the United States, this poem, to me, states that nothing you want will ever satisfy you in the end. We are all human, and it is our nature to change. In the end, nothing will be the same as it was in the beginning. Great job!
