It just drives my being
In directions so random
And out of place

How could life move so fast?
Being a child one day
The next I wake up
Reborn a man

The love I’ve given
Has been taken for granted
Its been denied and abused
Strung up and held down

I just want to move on
With my head up high
Observing all aspects
Of this young souls life

I want my vision to open
And see more of the world
See the beauty of the ugly
And ugly of the beautiful

I want to see the red of the blue
The black of the white
The good of the bad
And the life to death

I want to see positive
See no negative
See no evil
And see no harm

I want to see better of myself
See that I’ve done some good
That I’ve done more with this life
That I’ve made some kind of a difference

I want my life to have meaning
To have some soul
Have some heart
And maybe something more

I want to love life
More than I do now
Enjoy it
make it worth while

you can still be all that you want to....i mean no matter what life throughs at you you need to be strong and happy...and if people are taking your love for grantet then love some different people.....i know it's' not easy i've been where you are and it's not fun...but being happy makes people happy....so yeah i love your poem ,it's great!!! keep up the good work!!!
