Please, come over here.
Lean in, closer to me,
So I can whisper in your ear.

I have a proposition
That just may set me free.
To please my heat, all that I ask
Is that you spend the night with me.

We've known eachother for awhile
And I just can't pretend
That I'm satisfied with you
As a platonic friend.

I sence a mutual attraction
When I read between the lines.
So take my hand, come to my room
I'll be sure to close the blinds.

We could sail away together
And do all you want to do.
Hold on tight, we'll reach the stars
If you let me...make love to you.

Please tell me your decision
As we see the last of the suns light.
We may never have another chance-
Just give me "you" tonight. [comments] => 4 [counter] => 201 [topic] => 2 [informant] => ShadowsCloud [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LovePoetry )

Wow! I honestly don't know why you don't have more comments on here. Your rhyme and rythm is fantastic. Very peaceful and it certainly contributes to the theme of the poem. Perhaps the subject matter may seem scandalous but I think that it is romantic.

Thank you for your comment. And I don't mind if you show it to her. Hopefully I'll Have enough courage to show it to the guy I wrote it for.
