When we are very strong, who pulls back..
when vulnerable, who cares for ridicule?
and when we are very bad,
what would they do with us?
________________

..an overcast morning in December
and a taste of ashes flies through the air-
an odor of sweating wood on neighboring fires,
though the devestated flowers, now long forgotten,
still dance in the mist over the back-fields;
..why not incense and toys already?

Deck yourself.. dance and laugh.
I could never throw love out the window.

I have adorned, from steeple to steeple,
the laurel and ribbon of my faith;
garland from branch to branch
and gold from star to star..
and I dance..

I dance the dance of ages.

Oh my sweetest heart and dear poet,

This is utterly beautiful. So soft and delicate,
like an angel's wings, hun.
Gorgeous your words and so completely
unassuming .. as are you~

A reflection of pure and true art, sweets.

The intro brings a profoundness to the piece
that gives the words that follow so much more
meaning. I love this!!

ever yours~

~Breezy

Hey there, Billy.

Good write you have here. I apologise for how long it has been since I commented, but I'm back now, and as usual, you do not disappoint.

I, like others, love that last stanza and last line.

Well done, my friend.

*hugs*
