i fell in love
with a real special guy
so perfectly different
he just caught my eye

not dreaming of rainbows
or something insane
this wonderful boy
had thoughts about pain

we became good friends
always talking ang laughing
and i secretly wished
all his bad thoughts were passing

day after day
things were better by far
though i never thought to ask
to have a look at the scar

but one day i saw it
and was reduced to tears
proof he had been hurting
the worst of my fears

although he is better
the scars still remain
a painfuly real memory
of a dreadfuly real pain

once upon a time
tears ran down his face
but now he has promised
those tears are replaced

he brings joy to my life
for him i try to do the same
he even laughs at my jokes
no matter how stupid or lame

sometimes i still think
of the way he used to be
i think of how he has changed
and how his love has changed me

wonderful poem!! its touching in a way, hah, most people probably don't understand. But it is, to me.. kinda confusing and I'm not sure if "touching" is even the right word to use. lol, anyways, fantastic write!!
