Ever Glow

Holiday Poetry

Snowflakes gently falling
Christmastime is near
Festive lights and decorations
Friends and family dear
A time of joyful reflections
Songs and Santa Claus
But this Holiday season
Please take time to pause
And remember why we celebrate
This day important among the rest
For our Savior’s birth should bring
Out love and compassion at its best
Look around and you will see
Beneath the snow and lights
Many hunger, need rest or are alone
What can you do to make their Christmas bright?
So remember he who came
To save the world so long ago
And honor him by letting
His loving light ever glow

I'm Jewish, so Christmas does not
have the same religious meaning to me,
but I can still respect the beauty of a
child's birth. Your message in this
poem is very touching.
