[hometext] => A poem about feeling lost and empty with each moment you spend apart from the person you'll be spending the rest of your life loving... This poem is dedicated to my wife and my forever, Jenna Paola Alvarez.
[bodytext] => A great deal of the time that I spend, I spend inside this room so empty. Nothingness fills up every corner, I found stillness staring straight at me. And I begin to ask a question, Why do I feel that something is wrong? And then it hit me, and I trembled, This is not the place where I belong. Then, I saw your picture on my bed. For one single moment, I felt whole. As if for the first time in a month, I felt having a heart and a soul. A month has passed since the day I left And I have twenty-three months to go Now I know why I feel so unfilled. So I wrote this poem to let you know That living this life is meaningless, Hollow and purposeless without you. Hear the beating of my heart, saying, I love you, Jenna, I really do I’ll surely come back, please wait for me. I know you and I can see things through. And endure waiting until the day, The day I’m finally home with you. ~ Butch Corpuz ~ ~ Betrayer of Hope… No More ~ ~ 23 November 2006 ~ ~ AU – 10:34 PM ~ [comments] => 1 [counter] => 192 [topic] => 2 [informant] => ButchCorpuz [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LovePoetry )
