-flutter open-
Dancing on the face of desperation
-tragic recognition-
A grappling hope tumbles from the mouth of a liar
-weighted and waiting-
Perillously evoking lies yet settling not on contempt
-continuous trial-

The same steady eyes blink back years of misinterpretations
-effortlessly, guiltlessly-
Another day reeks of denial
-counting towards an inevitable defeat-
If only your name was not a poisonous trap telling me to waste and ruin
-playing on my tongue, a taste of surrender-
Everyday swallows down the calluses of rage
-choking, gasping-
Hatred is screaming shivers through my veins
-angrily, anxious-

Peace is a splinter always aching to be noticed but continuing on ignored
-how well can I put this lie back together?-
As adrenaline drips its last reckless agony into me
-forming dull, forking my tongue-

The steady eyes of a serpant swear love
-violently blinking away the revelation-
That administering such a peace is poison

Wow. That is an impressive read. I love the 2 sorta dialogues, the explainations/insights to what was said.
Tis so true, surrender is a brutal poison, and a paradox...do i surrender and give in, feel weakend? or do i battle on, continuosly enraged, entrapped and engulfed and by doing so surrender to my stubborn will? well, thats how it is for me anyways.
Thanks for the post! I love it!
Write On!
Peace
