Array ( [sid] => 129366 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Save them leave me [time] => 2006-12-13 13:53:03 [hometext] => This poem is based on something that actually did happen growing up as a kid. Please comment and share with people. [bodytext] => With a frantic step
and a tear in my eye
I grab my sisters
To go run and hide
I land really hard
As a leg trips mine
I dont care about me
I have to save their lives
Run Girls Run!
Dont forget what I said
I start to cry
As thoughts blur in my head
Dear Lord Please
Dont let me die
Those 2 little girls
hiding in my room need my help
They cant do this by themselves
As my mother comes closer
Shes moving in
someone help me
I need to save them [comments] => 5 [counter] => 220 [topic] => 66 [informant] => lipsofanangel [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => drugabuse )

OMG, it left me wanting to know what happened next. There's a lot in this - a lot of hinting, without explanation.
I hope it all turned out ok. I really don't know whatelse to say - I'm just sitting here visulizing the situation, but nothing comes to me but the feeling of having to get up and protect those kids :-/ Sorry, I usually have a lot to say in my comments, but this just knocked me sideways... I guess a little too close to home...
Great write

- Tim

That was a frightening write. I could see the fear and panic from the words. I trust that the girls were made safe and the nightmare that seems to have remained with you be laid to rest at last. Peace to you
