Indoctrinate

Contributed by noloveinrobotland on Tuesday, 12th December 2006 @ 02:02:09 AM in AEST
Topic: LoveRemembered

And then you are the words in your prose

Your song split into four tormented verses

Your veins tangled between the dark wind

Blowing through the words you wrote yourself

The words from your soul

-

But you cannot let your feast burn,

You say as you close the door.

And such a glorious feast it was

Pig’s heart, crackling with the very essence

You forbid yourself from enjoying

Because every time you take a bite,

You know you demolish a piece of me

-

L, you say, is for the language we speak

Different from everyone else, but not the same

O is for the object of your affection, namely me

But only in my other forms

V is for the venom, that you wear around your neck

Only on special occasions

And E, you say, E is for the elaborate reasons we can’t be together.

And then it’s time for you to say goodbye, because that’s what you always do.

-

And then I say that you are my everything

Captivating, you say, but not truthful

And then it is the end, once again
