I sit here
Thinking of you
I can smell my fear
Since I don't know what to do
You have a lover
But is it cover
Do you love me
Just please set me free
Your lover makes you sad
Which sadly makes me glad
Then maybe you'll come to me
And everything will be
Like it should
I'm sure we could
Love you more than he
I don't think you gave him the key
To your heart
I'm picking your life apart
Then I might know the real you
And I'll do as you do
But then you said lets be friends
Then I knew life would end
I cry myself to sleep
Without you by my side
A blow to me and my pride
At least part of me you'll keep
