Looking at mommy asking why,

Why did my daddy have to go away,

I want him here with me today, I want my daddy by my side,

Another tear drop falls asking why his daddy had to die,

Why mommy why did this happen to me,

I want to hold my daddy and have him bounce me on his knee,

I want him here with me, please mommy please bring my daddy back to me,

Another tear drop falls this time it’s from the heavens,

It’s from a father above who wants to hold his son, to bounce him on his knee and whisper,

How much he loves his little one,

My precious little boy when the skies open up and the rain starts to fall,

It’s my tears from heaven, crying for the one I love....

I had tears in my eyes. This reminded me of Eric Claptons song "Tears from heaven"
It tugs at the heart strings.
An emotional and very well written piece of poetry. Thanks for sharing it with us~
hugs n prayers,

This is a very direct reflection of a childs grief which is truly all our original questions.

You did this well with respectful 'kid gloves' and you included your loss for all grief is shared:

"...My precious little boy when the skies open up and the rain starts to fall,

It’s my tears from heaven, crying for the one I love...."

Thank You for shedding a warm healing light and expressing this very tender and tough subject...

Peace
Yangdantien
