Dream these horrid dreams
Wake me up
When it's over

Let me fall asleep tonight
Let me dream
Let's see if I wake up this time
See if my dream ended
See if it concluded

What happened this time?
Did I nearly die?
Let's see how far I can dream tonight
And maybe this time
I won't wake up

Maybe this time
It's like I finally hit the ground
Maybe this time
I really will

So shall we take our chances?
Do you really want to take a risk?
Are you sure you're ready for this?
Want to atempt to dream?
Dream my dreams
Maybe then you could

Dreaming
And dieing
So thinly sliced?
Hah, never did you or I think
You could die from a meaningless dream of horror
What if he finally got you?
What if you hit the ground?
Would you really die?

So let me fall asleep
I'm ready for the risk
I'm willing to take my chances
Let us see if I wake up this time
Let's see how far I can dream tonight

Let's see if I wake up
From this nightmare
Just as long as you wake me up
When it's over
Let's see if I survive [comments] => 2 [counter] => 220 [topic] => 13 [informant] => The_Unknown [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 2 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DarkPoetry )
