Realm of Anger

Contributed by Kevin on Tuesday, 5th December 2006 @ 11:44:46 PM in AEST
Topic: AngryPoetry

In the realm of anger, now I reside
Sick of those trying to hide,
Trying to flee, trying to escape
Condemning those who murder and rape

Thoughts of revenge, constantly on my mind
Everyone being so intricately intertwined
Those who scoff and don’t give damn
Those who steal, cheat, lie, and scam

Treating life as it’s something to spare
Never questioning, never posing a care
As the blood flows, not turning a head
Not giving a **** whether you’re alive or dead

The more I try to hide and disguise
The look of disgust floating in my eyes
The more I see of this world of ours
Lying silently below the countless stars

Humanity is sick with an incurable disease
So here I beg, down on my knees
I beg of you to stop and take a look around
Taking in every sight and every sound

For when you stop and finally see
The sickness involved so violently
You may understand that anger I exhume
For humanity’s death is soon our doom

Your words are spot on Kevin~ Sadly I think humanity will one day cease to exist due to their own doings~
It's great to see you posting again. Keep up the great work.
warm hugs,

Absolutely astonishing flow of words with a cool breeze of truth in this poem. This is quite well done and I applaud its message.
