Damn, I Think Too Much

Contributed by Channing on Saturday, 2nd December 2006 @ 04:01:12 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

I’m thinking blue
Of a bright blue sky
Where birds fly freely,
A sapphire sea
Free from the world’s pollution
Where the waves crash
Sparkling under the brilliant sun
Cleansing corruption from one’s body
Maybe I’m thinking green
Of a lush green forest
Filled with sounds of life
The color of a healthy world
Unscathed by man’s touch,
No, I’m thinking red
Of a red rose
The symbol of love
Of a heart beating quicker
From the taste of ruby lips
Pulsing the blood through veins
Making one feel truly alive
Actually, to be honest,
I’m thinking of the greatest thing that exists
I’m thinking of you
And how you make me feel
Like a bird in the sky
How you cleanse my corruption
Like the sparkling sea
How you fill my ears with the sound of life
Like the unscathed forests
But mostly I think of how
You’re my red rose, my love,
And how the touch of your lips
Speeds up my heart
Making me feel truly alive

-Channing-

The way this was put together and executed
is excellent. You seemed very deliberate in
the way you pushed eached thought into my
mind and quite clever how you started off with
a color to set the mood of each one. The way
you brought it all together was great and seemed say that this person was everything
in the world to you. Great description and
perfectly done. Truly , Doug
