[bodytext] => Please don’t leave, The cry is held from escape, As I see you evaporating away, All I desire is to melt with you along, To disappear to another universe, If you must depart may it be with me? Gone today, here tomorrow, The clouds drift ever onwards, Yet to never return do they, Like a mist in the morning, Only a minute did you stay, Yet I will always remember you, The way I felt in your arms, When you would come behind me, And hold me from all my fears, You made me want to be myself, Still guiding me to grow better, Your the only one, That liked me for who and what I am, It was your smile that melted away the ice in my heart, Left by all those that took, lied, and left me alone, It was your heart that touched a place I have never been, Now its her hand you hold, And her lips you kiss, I truly want you to find happiness, But why did you leave so soon? It was you that changed my life, And took my heart with out me knowing, I never even knew how much you meant, I did not see that it was you all along, That I wanted more than air itself, Than you broke my heart deep within, Took away all that I had left, And as I turn to him, Its your face I see, And when I sleep in his arms, Its you I dream of, And as he holds me, The way you used to, I cry, knowing its not you, Its not the same, True he makes me want to be better, But he will never like me for who and what I am, Your with her, And I’m with him, What should I do? Its you I need, And you I will never have, What happened so long ago? What did I do to make you turn away? I still don’t understand, And no one will open and speak, So I walk past you day in and day through, But you turn your back to me, And you never even knew, Just how much I love you Because the past brings no future.
