That bows it's head to shed it's tears
And every teardrop falls on down
And through the earth it spears
Where the dirt and grass drink thirstily
As if they enjoy the willow's pain
They drink the coming tears
Like the teardrops of the rain

And they sway and move into the wind
To dance as if in joy
As if the willow's lonely pain
Is that of a simple toy
And the willow weeps all alone
For no-one seems to care
And the pour little weeping willow
Accepts that life's not fair

So cry your tears my little willow
Accept the pain you're in
My lonely little weeping willow
With so much heartache in
Cry today and cry tonight
The pain will never heal
It's the only thing within this world
