Gray sky rains down snow,
With the inner pain raining down sorrow,
A bird shivers on a wire,
To cold to move an inch,
A limping deer staggers by,
Unable to run freely,
The black clouds cling together tightly,
A cat curled in a ball,
Frozen to the ground,
Wind fiercely scramming by,
The leave is blown forward or backwards,
Who can say?
All why cream butterscotch melts after snows fall,
The blue and pink heads weave in or out,
Dull red intertwines with the frigid clear wind,
Black and green sweaters come to or from sight,
Scarves flying loftily against the black drop,

This is all known to me yet unfelt,
A heart filled with death: Rejection,
Frozen by his actions,
Twenty school boys could skate upon,
Holding them all firmly and never even feel,
Never Love,
I don’t understand why it is,
Never such a harsh winter before,
Why him?
The Jack Frost of my soul,
When the winds become warmer,
Care will I not,
The air is thick, stuck in time,
Placing things in their proper space,
Snow white boards surrounding every side,
Frost stuck on the windowpane,
Life frozen forever in this ice,
Never to melt nor give life through Love,
Winter of my heart has taken over,
And has come to stay.

Good discriptive piece to explain how you feel. Sorry to hear that your life's taken such a turn... Hope a little sun comes back to you soon.
Nice write!

The description in this was great..i especially liked how you said the winter has come to you..(not liked if it really has im sorry) but how you match winter with the cold and grey inside. We all have winter but it always makes the summer sun seem so much brighter! so wait for the sun it will come!! good stuff
