If there's a border between a tree and a sky
then i dont know where it is
i dont know which branch it will break
or how much weight it can take

i want you to tell me where im at

If there's such a thing as walking on the sea
then i dont know how much faith you must carry inside
or how much hope and patience you'll need to succeed
i just feel i keep sinking as the days go by

i just want you to tell me where im at

If there's love between me and you
then i feel completely like a Jew
no borders,no land left to stand
is that my country, or just a belief that i have

Letter to compass

If there's a border between a tree and a sky
then i dont know where it is
i dont know which branch it will break

i want you to tell me where im at

It has a truly interesting emotion conveyed. I only wished that you hadn't done a rhyming poem because it really interrupted the flow and confused some of the meaning.
