Is my love wrong? How can that be?

What will reign over and above?
What is right? Which is more sublime?
My heart says tell him of my love.
My head screams it is not yet time.

Love should never seek to own.
It is about the two as one.
Love is not meant to be a thorn,
It is meant to be a port in any storm.

Our bodies, souls, and breath,
We shall age and change through the years.
Moving forward with more than a few tears,
Not content to let either soul feel bereft.

So finally, let it be done,
Let this love be born.
Let our love shape and form,
Our journey, our life as our own.

How can he not hear the love in my heart’s song?
How can he fail to see what he means to me?
Can he love me as I long?
Is my love wrong? How can that be?

What will reign over and above?
What is right? Which is more sublime?
My heart says tell him of my love.
My head screams it is not yet time.

Love should never seek to own.
It is about the two as one.

Very nice, very. i enjoyed reading this poem, very heartfelt and just full of emotion i love at the end how you said to let love be and form very nice.

When it comes to affairs of the heart I'm last in that department, lol. You have done a fine job with this write of yours. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Alot of emotion poured onto the page. Well done and thanks so much for sharing it with us~
