In a world all alone,

As you held your baby in your arms as
You closed your eyes to a world of
Eternal sleep..

Crossing over into the paradise of heaven

Oh momma did hear your baby crying?

In the hour of the dawn,

Oh momma,
The sun polished stars with a light so
Bright,

Surely a comfort,

So humble you parted from this old
World..

With a tear of sadness you left your
Baby alone,

Oh momma,

I think I felt you near..

While the shadows of the wind pass
Sotly touch my cheek..

I thought of you today

In solace I now sustain..

As you sit upon your special star

Oh momma,

I look toward the distant deepest
Sky..

Hoping you will rain your mother
Love down me..

Oh momma,
As I grasp out for you
I know you are an angel watching
Over me..

This was a sad reminder that nothing is lost till all is lost. A most beautiful peice of writting filled with the emotions rightly connected with it. Take care my friend.

Very sad, you struck a chord with the emotive technique.

A deeply affecting and memorable poem that really hits close to home. Powerful.
