These are just a few of the things I feel

Part of me knows that the pain isn’t real
That I make it out of the things I fear
I’ve got pain, I don’t know how to deal

I have got layers it takes years to peel
And you want to do it in a month? Dear,

There’s a part of me I always conceal
Though, in your eyes I see you are sincere
I’ve got pain, I don’t know how to deal

You tell me to “Open up and reveal”
And though my feelings are not always clear
These are just a few things I feel

Do not tell me what you think time can heal
Sometimes I think I should just disappear

I’ve got pain, I don’t know how to deal
it’s not exactly what you want to hear
These are just a few of the things I feel

Part of me knows that the pain isn’t real
