which way, she wondered, to go
to the black comfort of depression
or the less traveled path of the unknown?

walking towards the unknown
an inclination to write hit her
sitting under a tree,
crystal pen in her hand
she began to write her sickness out:

she wrote about love
she wrote about loss
she wrote about pleasure and shame
she wrote about passion
she wrote about sadness
she wrote about tricks and the "game"

she wrote about anger
she wrote about grief
she wrote about depression and spite
she wrote about beauty
she wrote about pain
she wrote about laughter and fright

she wrote about sickness
she wrote about death
she wrote about till her fingers were sore
she wrote about family
she wrote about life
and then she wrote some more

she kept writing
writing it out
writing this sickness away
she'll keep writing
everyday fighting
to make it through another day [comments] => 9 [counter] => 165 [topic] => 19 [informant] => LadyDama [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => InspirationalPoems )

Well written, I am seeingso many such young writers now a days. Often they are talented.. some times wondrous. Some smile as sunshine. Some blew their noses on our faces. some dont know why do they write. but ofcourse I am not tired of reading any thing if it comes directly from their hearts. if some thing comes out of their sickness I feel sympathy as a senior writer. Thank you lady for sharing this one.. venkat

LD
Too many crosses for you to bear
a very heavy load
but you have found a way ti leave them
by the side of the road
poems "pasted" on the wall
for all the world to see
out of mind and left behined
so you could walk on free.
