Awakening clean, fresh with the early morn
Blue sky and crisp gentle breeze
With the sounds of the crashing seas

In rhythmic breath beside me asleep
All your love I have to keep
I sigh content your beauty so near
All my love you are so dear

Never before did I conceive
I wish now for you to never leave
To have you near wherever I go
My darling Karla I love you so

On the day you were born
I felt unease and so forlorn
Seeing you now my smile so wide
My love for you full of pride

One day I hope you will know
And with your love you can show
The pleasure your life does bring
Giving my heart something to sing
