I can’t believe I’m saying it
I wish you had swept me off my feet
And into your arms
But now I know better
If you had saved me
Everything would have been perfect
Perfection cannot last
It would have been ruined
It would have been the perfect time
Perfect place and day
But you would not have been perfect
By being perfect
You are imperfect
If we had struggled
And finally saved each other
That imperfection
Would be perfect
If I cannot save you
You cannot save me
You won’t let me save you
If you had saved me
I would not know what it is like
What it is like to struggle
I do not want it easy
I want to fight
I want to fight so I can save myself
I wanted to fight for you too
But you did not want to fight for me

Thank you for not saving me
I can’t believe I’m saying it
I wish you had swept me off my feet

If you had saved me

It takes a long time to realize it but you will believe what you wrote . Don't ever give up and someone who realizes how special you are WILL fight for you.
