Death without presence, the Lord has come.
Trumpets roar over thunder, while lightening crashes east to west.
His promise kept, His love beautifully displayed.
He has come.

Caught up in our worldly manner, I’ve sinned against my Lord.
A boastful and proud heart, pleasure has come before God.
But as I sit under the greatest judgment, neither ashamed nor weary will I be.
For the deeds I’ve done for the Lord,
Verses the direct disobedience to his Word,
I receive what is due for each.

But through Christ I am saved,
Marked by the seal of God - I am saved.
Caught up in the clouds, I meet the Lord in the air
And forever, here, I will remain. [comments] => 3 [counter] => 151 [topic] => 11 [informant] => jajnex [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => ChristianPoetry )

bless you, and what a beautiful day that will be, I am awaiting His return, I will gladly give my eternity to him, as his servant. And if i must fall, and be judged with the rest as wicked, then I will atleast know that those who deserved eternal life were able to live in peace, so it will be a beautiful day to me either way. god bless you all.

I am ashamed to say I am not as religious as I should be, but I must admit, reading this poem brought me a measure of peace, and I thank you for that. Very well done.
