Array ( [sid] => 127754 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Thank You [time] => 2006-11-02 19:30:29 [hometext] => this is something i put together to show the people who raised me how much i care and appreciate them [bodytext] => Mom was never around
she loves me
she just made some mistakes
but through her mistakes
you were there for me
you kept a roof over my head
and shoes on my feet
food in my tummy
and a smile on my face
you never had to do these things
but you cared for my well-being
i love you for that
you raised me up
to the girl i am today
strong and independant
you taught me everything i know
without you
i don't know where i'd be
raising me was hard
i'm sure
but i thank god everyday
that you love me like you do
if it weren't for you
i don't think i'd be alive today
so i want to thank you
for loving me
even when i made it hard
even when mom took me back
several times (i know it hurt)
this is my way of showing
my gratitude for making me
who i am today.

I'm sure you are a good person from this write. Also the fact that you know even still that your mom luvs you.
This is a very beautifull peice and you should put it in a frame and give it to your grand parents to put on the wall for all to read.
I'm so happy that you are proud of your raising.
luv, huggs,
emy

I don't know what to say.........See now you did it, you made me cry. All these years of loving you and sacrificing for you and I didn't even think it mattered. I know you love your mom, so do I. She is after all, my baby. But just to see this poem, makes it all worthwhile. You are my sunshine, but not my only sunshine. lol (only you get the inside joke)
But it's helped to make all these years worth it.
I love you sweetie with my heart and soul. You know it, I've proved it. And you've turned out to be a wonderful young lady. Glad I could help.
Loves and Peace,
Gramma Thumps :o) :o) :o)
