No rules we follow in this game we play
Sweet sensation but sorry probation
Caroline singing, within the fray

Violins a’ playing, lovers a’ straying
Upon fields of love, songs of heartbreak
Listen, but hard as they fallaciously try
They hear naught but their beating heart ache

Fall into my upraised arms
Death we practice, but try we might
Instead our pain comes back again
As we attempt to quell this fight

Twins of sorrow, ne’er comes daybreak
A single tear falls from the sky
A catching silence, and his body falls
And up in heaven, his soul will fly. [comments] => 2 [counter] => 171 [topic] => 22 [informant] => drifting_heart [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LostLove )

I think you did an excellent job with writing this poem. The only negative thing is that the bold and italic words are a bit distracting. Other than that, the poem is very well written and heart warming! Great job!!
